Indian Prime Minister Congratulates PM Oli

KATHMANDU, OCT 12 - The Indian Prime Minister Naredra Modi has congratulated the newly elected Prime Minister of Nepal Khadga Prasad Oli.

The CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli was elected as the new Prime Minister of Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal on Sunday. He was elected with a majority vote of 338 votes among the 597 parliament members. The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Prime Minister Oli on Phone call. Modi also invited the new Prime Minister Oli to visit for India. The Prime Minister Oli also shared his hardships on the undeclared trade blockade in Nepal, unrest of  Madhes and Nepal- India border.

The Chinese ambassador  to Nepal Chuntai also congratulated the PM Oli meeting him at CPN-UML party office where the PM Oli had moved after the election.
